Jewelry History —

Daniel Kosoff launched his New York business in the late 1930s. The Florenza
name was first used to mark jewelry in 1949 or 1950. The
Florenza hallmark was a sobriquet for Kasoff’s wife Florence.

Florenza jewelry and boutique items, such as vanity
dresser products, and decorative accessories, were sold in fine department
stores throughout the U.S. – including Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdales, Sax
Fifth Avenue, Bonwit Teller.
